Hello friends!

I know I've been really naughty and haven't updated you on things in a while, partly that was because I didn't have much to say except WOOOHOOO! the new Catalogue is finally here and we can order from it! Yay! Isn't it gorgeous?? it's even more beautiful in real life.

Soo I have some retired sets that I'm looking to get rid of, but first I wanted to show you a couple of projects that I did a while ago.

This is a match box type slider. It is perfectly sized to hold a freddo frog, or similar size gift. I know it's an easter project but this little box would be perfect for party gifts too. Tutorial coming really soon, I promise!

I made this birthday card for a friend's daughter's 4th birthday. It was a fabulous day they hired a bouncy castle for all the kids to jump on.

This is one of my favourite cards I've done lately. I used heartfelt thanks, dazzling diamonds and a two way glue pen.

April Stamp-a-stack!

What: Come along for a fun afternoon of chatting and stamping, you'll get to make 10 cards, (5 each of the 2 designs above) and you'll be on the way to always having a stack of cards for that unexpcted celebration or when you just don't have the time or energy to make a card.

Retirement Party!

This Friday March 14th at 7pm I'm having a retirement party to say goodbye to all the stamps and accessories that will no longer be available after the 31st of March or until sold out! (and some things were sold out before March even started!!!!)

Cost: $5 (credited back to you if you order $50 or more in product)
You'll get to make 2 projects using retiring product and snacks etc... will be included!

I am sooo darn happy!

and in love with this box! Why? I know you're all thinking come on it's just a box, but... that's where you are wrong, it's not just any box, it's a box that I, myself designed. Yep took me hours to get the darn measurements perfect. This box is also going to be a gift for my grandparents, who have been requesting pictures of my kiddo's since before christmas. So I thought I would fill this box with pictures and gifts and send it to them for easter. (Sorry about the messy desk by the way, I was taking pictures whilst creating the box as well as writing notes)

Overall view this box is 3 inches high and holds 4x6 photos on a bit of a standing angle.

This is the top of the box, I will be creating this box in different dimensions, as my first for purchase class tutorial, that can be sent to you directly by email. I will also be putting together free tutorials featuring some other of my original ideas. More info coming soon though!

On Saturday March 1st some of us WA demo's had a get together, so we could meet each other face to face and stamp, chat, eat and be merry, it was such a fun day! From L-R Claire, Tara, Me (& Braiden), Tina & Melissa. It was so great to hang out and swap ideas and stories and share inspiration. We're hoping to get together again soon! I have to thank my downline Melissa's son Aiden (who turned 9 the next day! HB) for taking this picture of us on my camera, great job sobbin robin!

A recent very basic thank you card that I made!

I got the idea for this gift card holder from an american demonstrator named Erika Martin, this is it closed.


On the inside I've glued a pretty in pink pocket note envelope from our Summer Mini



This is the card inside the pocket. The awesome thing about this gift card holder is that this envelope is the perfect size to hold a mini card and a gift card!

It says "I heart hugs and kisses"

I used the Sweet on You and Bunny Hugs sets from our Summer Mini

resolutions, packages and more...

Hi all, how's your new year going so far? I've been working on those resolutions I posted, I made up my goal plan and even added two new goals to the list as well as a step-by-step plan to help me achieve them. I even added a column to put yes or no to as each step is acieved, or to revise each step. Any of that make sense?

The sale-a-bration and summer mini catalogues are all packaged up and ready to go, past hostesses of mine, be on the lookout for a very special sneak preview envelope, that will be in with your package.

Speaking of packages I got a wonderful package for christmas. I participated in a secret santa with other members of the Elite Stampers team, and I recieved the Sweet on You stamp set from the Summer Mini, pretty in pink pocket notes, perfect plum and pale plum ink pads, a package of brads and a package of very vanilla and certainly celery wide grosgrain ribbon from the summer mini. I was very, very spoiled and I am extremely thankful to my wonderful secret santa!

I have had the idea for this card in my head for 6 months or so, but it hasn't really turned out the way I envisioned it. It feels as though it's missing something but what that might be I have no clue!

A new year and a new beginning!

Do you have any resolutions for 2008? Well I do some to help make my personal life run smoother and some to help improve my Stampin' Up!® business.

2008 Business Goals

* To become a more organised and reliable demonstrator.
* To become a better upline and grow my team as well as helping my team members to grow.
*To post to this blog at least 2-3 times a month, preferably once a week to share ideas, cards and news.

I know you are all thinking ok but why are you writing this where I can see it? Answer: MOTIVATION!

I need a kick start to make good on these goals, which is just one reason why I have organised to take some business training, plus I've always heard that if you write down your goals your subconscious doesn't let you forget them. Also I am going to make a goal tracker which is bascically a plan of how I am going to achieve these goals. (Off to do that next)

I hope you all have a truly fabulous new year and that 2008 will bring you much joy and happiness, back tomorrow to share news and projects!

Sorry for being MIA!

I know I've been missing in action for a while and as much as it sucks sometimes it just can't be helped!! I came down sick again here's hoping I get it all over and done with this year and don't have to be sick next year!!LOL!

So what's been going on, lots, I did a stall at a local festival and met some lovely new people, then I came down sick that sucked but now I'm better and looking forward to christmas and doing workshops again as well as the brand new SUMMER MINI CATALOGUE!!

Stampin' Up! News

For the month of November only you can buy the All in the Family stamp set released in honour of Dave Abbott who was SU Australia's General Manager. Dave sadly passed away on the 18th of October from a rare blood disease, this set has been released to help support Dave's wife Cathy and their 3 beatiful children. All the proceeds raised go directly to the family but it's only til the end of November! Stamp set price is $73.95 for a set of 28, or alternatively you can make a donation directly to the foundation set up to support the family, ask me how.

Until the 15th of December you can purchase christmas double sided designer series paper. The Thyme paper can be used for scrapbooking, card making, gift wrapping, holiday decor and anything else you can think of. On special for $14.50 (normally $16.95)

Most importantly now is the time to make your purchases from the Spring mini catalogue as we won't know until March 2008 if you'll ever see these sets again.

And last but not least I'm going to leave you with a baby card I made recently, I also made it in blues without the glitter. I used the Level 1 hostess set Terrific Tags, colours are pixie pink, pink passion and pretty in pink.

I'm back...

I know it's been a long break and during that time with all these changes in the weather we have been on and off sick with the flu and a tummy bug! Yuck!

September Newsletter and World Card Making Day

You should receive your September newsletter by the end of the day, I"m sure you'll enjoy reading it, please let me know if there's anything you'd like to know more about.

World Card Making Day is on Saturday October 6th this year. I'll be running two card making sessions at my house over that weekend and I hope you'll come! Part of the proceeds will be donated to PMH Foundation to help sick kids and their families as well as helping to buy new equipment for the Hospital.

The first card you make on the day is free, additional cards are $3 each there will be at least 3 designs to choose from. Bookings are essential so email me today for more information or to book your place to help a worthy cause!

They're here!

My new stamp sets got here yesterday, 5 mounted 3 to go, I look forward to finishing them today (OK after I've done the housework!) so I can spend the weekend creating cards, scrapbook pages and anything else that takes my fancy.

Excitement!!

I have 8, yes eight new stamp sets on the way to my house as well as some cardstock and accessories and I can't wait til they get here so I can mount them and get to playing. On the way are two sets that can be used for masculine cards which is really going to challenge me as I'm not great at masculine cards, I've made one or two and that's it.

Also on the way is a christmas set to use for making lovely cards at workshops and stamp a stacks. I'm Back...

Regional Training was sooo much fun!! I had a wonderful day, full of swapping with fellow demonstrators, chatting, learning and laughing.
